Our therapy services are provided for children 18 months to 18 years in the comfort of your home, at your child’s school or daycare, and through the convenience of teletherapy.

Articulation

How we produce speech sounds in the oral cavity using the lips, teeth, and tongue.
Language

Expressing and understanding of vocabulary, putting words together, answering questions, following directions
Stuttering

When speech is interrupted by sound or word repetitions, sound prolongations, or blocks.
Social Skills

How we interact with others, both verbally and non-verbally, through words, gestures, and body language.
AAC

Augmentative and Alternative Communication includes use of gestures, pointing to pictures, or using a speech-generating device.
Feeding

Sensory and motor skills for eating and drinking safely. Involving improved attitudes toward food for “picky” eaters and tongue, lip, or cheek ties.

How does the process work?

Initial Consultation

An initial phone or email consultation is free of charge and is helpful to begin gathering information about any speech, language, or communication concerns. We’re here to answer any questions you may have.
Formal Evaluation

The evaluation includes standardized testing, a formal report, and a follow up phone conference to review the results and recommendations. The evaluation determines where your child’s communication skills are measuring.
Therapy Services

If recommended, services generally begin with one to two 45-minute therapy sessions per week. However, every child has unique needs, therefore session length and frequency recommendations are child specific.
Payment & Pricing

Private pay is accepted at this time, and documentation can be provided to families who wish to seek reimbursement through their insurance carriers. Please contact us for more information about pricing.

Meet the Owner

Sydney Woods Bridenstine, MA, CCC-SLP

Olive Branch Speech Therapy was founded by Sydney in 2015. She leads a team of skilled speech-language pathologists. Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, she has worked in pediatrics in Nashville since 2009 in both public schools and private therapy settings.

Sydney completed her bachelors degree in Communication Disorders from Auburn University and Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Memphis. She enjoys exploring new cities and countries, devouring fiction, and chasing her three wild boys.
